GIB AM Sustainable World Corporate Bond

Samantha is the Head of Fixed Income at GIB Asset Management and has overall responsibility for GIB's Fixed Income capabilities.

Samantha joined from abrdn, where she was Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Fixed Income. Part of a team responsible for £180bn of AUM, Samantha led the integration of ESG considerations into investment decisions and drove ESG innovation through, for example, launching one of the first SRI Corporate Bond funds. Samantha previously held the position of Investment Director, Fixed Income at Standard Life Aberdeen and over her more than 17 years of experience, has had roles at Aegon Asset Management, JP Morgan and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

Samantha holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Leeds and is a CFA Charterholder.

Pascal is a Portfolio Manager at GIB Asset Management, specialising in emerging market corporate credit and structured credit. With over 12 years of credit experience, he manages segregated portfolios for GIB Asset Management’s Emerging Market Credit Strategy and provides additional analysis for the firm’s Structured Credit portfolios.

Pascal started his career in Calyon’s credit portfolio management division in Paris. He has an MSc in Finance from EDHEC Business School in France and holds a Level 3 Certificate in Islamic Finance.

Thomas is a Portfolio Manager at GIB Asset Management.

Thomas has previously worked as a global credit portfolio manager and has an excellent track record managing a range of portfolios, amongst other unconstrained global absolute return and EUR aggregate portfolios. Seasoned risk-taker in investment-grade as well as high-yield markets.

Thomas has worked for Nykredit, Western Asset and Pictet Asset Management and has 15 years of experience in the investment management industry.

Thomas holds the CFA and has a Master of Economics and Business from Aarhus, an Executive MBA from London Business School, and a CFA UK ESG Certificate holder.
