GIB Asset Management appoints Institutional Business Director04/20 GIB Asset Management
GIB Asset Management (GIBAM) today announced the appointment of Duncan Gardiner as Institutional Business Director. Duncan is based in London and will report to John Angell, Head of Global Business Development for GIBAM.
In addition to working with the team on the development of GIBAM’s business across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Duncan will have a specific focus on growing GIBAM’s institutional business across Europe.
His appointment follows growing interest from Institutions in GIBAM’s expertise in ESG & sustainability across both traditional and alternative assets.
Duncan joins GIBAM from Lazard Asset Management, where he was responsible for European institutional relationships, prior to that he was at Fidelity International and began his career as a fixed income analyst at Reuters.
He studied Environmental Economics at the University of Natal, South Africa and holds the CISI Investment Diploma.
John Angell, Head of Global Business Development said: “Duncan brings a wealth of knowledge of asset classes and investor preferences to GIB. He will be a valuable addition to our team as we expand our range of investment capabilities for European clients and provide them with differentiated investment solutions.”
